Jane Blanchard
For the last seven years, Jane Blanchard has work for women in Sarasota. She served three years as the president of the local National Organization for Women; was a board member of the Florida National Organization for women and is the current president of the Florida NOW Education Fund; is a commissioner and current Treasurer of the Sarasota Council on the Status of Women; and for two years hosted Women Matters, a radio program on WSLR dedicated to women of Sarasota. She became involved with Human Trafficking after attending a presentation by Jennifer Massie and is one of the founding members of the Human Trafficking Awareness Coalition of Sarasota County. Though she can speak on Human Trafficking in general, Jane's emphasis is on Domestic Human Trafficking.
Ginger Pavloff, RN,MA,LPC,NBCC
Ginger spent most of her professional career in the healthcare field.She began as a pediatric nurse and moved into nursing education as well as quality assurance and utilization while still living in NJ.After a hiatus for the management and ownership of a family business, she returned to her first love of healthcare, this time in the mental health area. Ginger obtained a masters degree in counseling psychology, specializing in womens’ issues and family therapy, working both in a private psychiatric hospital and private practice. She currently does post graduate training at the Georgetown Family center and enjoys working at the local homeless center. Ginger likes speaking to nurses, social workers and counselors, school groups and womens' groups.
